Hua Hin Railway Station
The oldest railway station in Thailand, built in the early 1920s and still fully operational. The station is a beautiful example of traditional Thai architecture with its royal waiting room, twin pavilions and manicured gardens. A mandatory photo stop for any visitor to Hua Hin. Free to visit â the best time is early morning or during the golden hour.
Khao Takiab (Chopstick Mountain)
A distinctive rocky headland at the southern end of Hua Hin Beach, known locally as Chopstick Mountain due to its shape. Home to a revered golden Buddha statue and a temple with sweeping views of the Gulf of Thailand. Wild monkeys roam freely on the hillside. Climb the steps for panoramic sea views â one of Hua Hin's most iconic experiences.
Sam Roi Yot National Park
A stunning coastal national park 60km south of Hua Hin, Sam Roi Yot ("Three Hundred Peaks") is famous for its dramatic limestone hills, caves, wetlands and beaches. Phraya Nakhon Cave â featuring a royal pavilion bathed in natural light â is one of Thailand's most photographed sites. A paradise for birdwatchers, with hundreds of species including the rare purple heron.
Hua Hin Hills Vineyard (Monsoon Valley)
Thailand's most visited winery, perched in the hills overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Monsoon Valley at Hua Hin Hills produces award-winning tropical wines using Colombard, Shiraz and Blanc de Noirs grapes. Cicada Market
Hua Hin's most beloved weekend market, open Friday to Sunday evenings. Over 300 stalls selling handmade arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery and gourmet street food. Live music performances every night. Located near Khao Takiab, the market has a creative, artsy atmosphere that sets it apart from typical night markets. Best visited after 6pm when it comes alive.
Rajabhakti Park
An awe-inspiring park featuring seven enormous bronze statues of Thai kings, each standing 10 metres tall and weighing over 50 tonnes. Rajabhakti Park was created to honour the monarchy and is one of Thailand's most unique outdoor attractions. Free entry. The scale of the statues must be seen to be believed. Popular for photography, especially at sunset.
Maruekhathaiyawan Palace
A breathtaking teak wood palace built in 1923 for King Rama VI, stretching along the beachfront on stilts above the sand. Known as the "Palace of Love and Hope", the 16 interconnected pavilions are considered one of Thailand's finest examples of tropical architecture. The shaded wooden walkways and sea breeze make this a magical place to explore.
Black Mountain Water Park
One of Southeast Asia's top water parks, part of the Black Mountain resort complex. Features thrilling water slides, wave pool, lazy river and kids zone. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Black Mountain itself. Day passes from 990 THB for adults. Excellent facilities with restaurants, beach chairs and lockers. Popular with families and groups.
Vana Nava Water Jungle
